By contacting The Family Pest Control, using our website at thefamilypestcontrol.com, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Services
The Family Pest Control provides residential and commercial pest control services in the Gladstone, North Kansas City, and surrounding Missouri communities. Services include but are not limited to general pest control, mole removal, eave sweeping, granular barrier treatment, and interior pest treatment.
Service availability, pricing, and scheduling are subject to change. We will always provide a written or verbal quote before beginning any work.
SMS Messaging Program

Program description: By opting in, you agree to receive SMS text messages from The Family Pest Control including appointment confirmations, service reminders, missed call follow-ups, and post-service communications.
To opt in: Provide your phone number via our website contact form or by calling us. Checking the SMS consent box on our form constitutes explicit opt-in consent.
To opt out: Reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive one final confirmation message. After opting out you will receive no further messages unless you opt in again.

Message frequency: Varies based on your service activity.
Costs: Standard message and data rates may apply. Contact your mobile carrier for details.
Supported carriers: All major US carriers. Carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Appointments & Cancellations
Appointments are scheduled based on availability. We ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you as soon as possible if rescheduling is necessary.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. For recurring service plans, payment terms will be specified in your service agreement.
Service Guarantee
We stand behind our work. If pests return between scheduled service visits, we will return to re-treat at no additional charge, subject to the terms of your specific service plan. This guarantee applies to the treated pest species and does not cover new infestations of different pest types.
Customer Responsibilities
To ensure effective treatment, customers agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the pest issue and property
- Follow any preparation instructions provided before service
- Keep pets and children away from treated areas for the time specified by the technician
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the property for service
Limitation of Liability
The Family Pest Control's liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services or failure to provide services.
We carry liability insurance and all technicians are licensed in the State of Missouri.
Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved in the courts of Clay County, Missouri.
